Breaking news, monaghan news, gardai arrests, drug arrests, monaghan arrests, cavan arrestsNine people have been arrested in Cavan and Monaghan by gardaí investigating the sale and supply of ecstasy and other controlled drugs.Six men and three women were arrested in the course of a search operation this morning, a Garda spokesman said.They range in age from their early 20s to mid-40s.All are detained in various Garda stations throughout the Cavan/Monaghan division under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.The Garda spokesman said a "considerable amount of cash and controlled drugs" were seized during this morning's operation.
